Musikgarten New Mexico is the preeminent early childhood music education program designed to teach music to children from birth to age nine in a family setting.

The Musikgarten program is the most pedagogically sound available, covering children from birth to age nine – a complete bridge from early childhood to piano lessons. Our curricula are uniquely effective because we have designed learning sequences that repeat and build patterns to continually reinforce and stimulate our students.

Each of our six courses stands on its own and fits the developmental needs of the child. Students will enjoy their lessons more and you will be able to see them progress for nine years. This continuity is as valuable to you as it is to the child.

We believe that a child’s most important teacher is his or her parent and therefore, we encourage parents to participate in class with their child. We inspire parents to meet their children’s need for music education. We teach parents how to play with their children purposefully and joyfully, and how to teach them at home, the center of all learning.

As an organization, Musikgarten New Mexico supports making music education available for all children. We believe that from birth, children love music. We help them channel their energy and focus their attention as they embrace music and enjoy learning. Class time is educational, fun and purposeful.
